RPA Payments

The RPA has started issuing the 2022 RPA payments. As at 6th December 2022 95.3 per cent of farmers have already received their full balancing payments under the Basic Payment Scheme (BPS), topping up the first payments made to most claimants in July and August. Over 102,000 payments have been made, bringing the total paid to farmers to £1.528 billion under BPS, Countryside Stewardship (CS) and Environmental Stewardship (ES) schemes.
