The fields are to the west of the hamlet of Nesfield, adjoining the road which links Ilkley to Beamsley and Bolton Abbey.

Lot 1

A field of 4.40 acres (1.78 hectares) which is grazing land immediately adjacent to Nesfield village.

The field is believed to have been an Iron Age fort, later occupied as a Roman Camp, but is not on the Register of Scheduled Ancient Monuments.

Road access is immediately to the north of The Old Bark Mill.


Lot 2

A field of 17.74 acres (7.18 hectares) being 10 acres of grazing land, nearly 5 acres of woodland, and the remainder is river and riverbank to the River Wharfe.

A tranquil area sheltered by the ancient woodland of Nesfield Scar this is an ideal field for those wanting their own field to enjoy, with river access and fishing rights.

Road access is in the north eastern corner.
