7th generation Stephenson joins as Assistant Surveyor
In its 150th anniversary year, Archie Stephenson joins Johnny Cordingley as the seventh generation of their family at Stephensons Rural, one of Yorkshire’s leading rural and property specialists founded by Jacob Stephenson in 1871.
Having grown up in rural Yorkshire, Archie has kept in close contact with the company with a strong interest in auctioneering and surveying.
Whilst working at Stephensons Rural, Archie will also be undertaking his masters at the University College of Estate Management before studying his RICS and CAAV qualifications, to become a fully qualified rural surveyor.
Archie said: “After enjoying studying Economics and Business Management degree at Newcastle University, I’m looking forward to furthering my education with the help of Stephensons Rural and starting my exciting career for a company that I am incredibly proud to work for.”
Edward Stephenson, Partner at Stephensons Rural, said:” We are thrilled for the next generation of Stephensons coming into the business. Archie will be a great asset to the team and we are pleased that this long established company will continue its heritage.”
